Project Overview

Roc Nation’s new signee, KenTheMan, was set is release her highly anticipated single “Mean B*tch”. In collaboration with KreatedbyKiah, I was fortunate to conceptualize, direct, execute, edit, and finalize a short film for Ken. They key was to develop visual imagery that both, amplifies Ken’s persona and compliments the original musical composition. The H Town native delivers witty raunchy lyrics on top of a DJ Chose-produced hard-hitting instrumental. I wanted to keep up that momentum and pace throughout the visual.

Conceptualization

A general aesthetic was given and later developed through dedicated discovery meetings to refine the concept and direction. Pre-production consist of casting, conceptualization and storyboarding.
